Holbrook Officer receives No Discipline for Excessive Force

Despite a silent video widely circulated in the news media, the Holbrook Board of Selectmen cleared Officer Kearney of all charges and reinstated him to his job without any discipline whatsoever.  Once the Board received the same evidence as was presented to the jury, they quickly came to the same conclusion - that Kearney did nothing wrong.  When slowed down and put into context, including what would be heard if sound were available, the video actually supported Kearney's use of force.

Attorney's Nolan and Perroni represented Kearney, an NEPBA member, during the criminal trial and at his reinstatement hearing.  The Town's hearing was held on September 24th - and did not wrap-up unitl after 11:00 p.m.
